Linking Google Scholar to Cooper Union Library

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature.

Customize Google Scholar so it lets you access books and articles licensed by The Cooper Union Library. 

1. Click on the menu in the upper-left corner;
2. Scroll down to Settings;
3. From the Settings menu, click on Library links; 
4. Search for and select "The Cooper Union";
5. Click Save.  

Search Tips 

• Advanced Search in Google 

  Use the Advanced Search to limit by date, domain, format, usage rights, and more.

• Google search: punctuation, symbols, & operators 

  Phrase searching, boolean operators, exclusions, wildcards, number ranges, and more. What happens when you use: +, @, &, %, $, #, _, and - (hyphen between connected words).

• Google Books 

  Through their Library Project and Partner Program, Google has scanned millions of rare, out of print, and other library books, and partners with many publishers to provide searchable text and display snippets of text.
