**A Note on Public v Private Companies: In the United States, it is generally harder to answer questions about small businesses than some large corporations because only Public Companies (those of which ownership is traded on an American stock exchange) are required to share business information to the public. There are a few resources that can help you find information on Private Companies, but information may be better found directly on their website, newsletters, and networking. That said, you can always generalize from information you might find about a private company's INDUSTRY.
