Due to a system migration, library circulation services will be different through December and January.

• Due dates for regular items—those from The Cooper Union Library, as well as NYU and The New School Libraries—will be pushed to January (except for reserves materials).

• Items returned the last week of the semester may still show up as “checked out” in your account until January. These are not considered overdue, and the library will not send overdue messages.

• Accounts will be updated when the library reopens in January.

Important Service Changes

Fri. Dec. 8 - last day to place EZBorrow Requests

• Requests for books must be made by 5:00pm (ET). 
• After Dec. 8, you can use our Item Request Form to request articles and book chapters, however, there will be no book requests during the migration. Book requests will resume in January. 

Thurs. Dec. 21 - last day Library Accounts will be updated / last day to renew items

• Changes made to your Library Account, or the status of borrowed/returned items will not be reflected in your account until January.
• No email communications about library accounts will be sent out.
• If you have a question about your account, please email library@cooper.edu.

Fri. Dec. 22, 2023 - Weds. Jan 3, 2024

• Circulation services will be unavailable after 5:00pm on Dec. 22 and remain unavailable until January 3rd. 
• The Cooper Union Library will not re-open until January 8, 2024. NYU's Bobst Library and The New School Libraries will re-open on January 3rd.
